The climate at Lake Millstatt on the south side of the Alps is influenced by the Adriatic and is very temperate. The average temperature in summer is 25° to 35°. The lake water is of drinking water quality.
The average water temperature in summer is a pleasant 20°-25°. The bathing season is from May to September.
The lakeside beach is very easy to get to. A10 Tauern motorway, exit Seeboden-Millstätter See, then about 15km in the direction of Millstatt/Radenthein along the shore of the lake. Here nature lovers and sun worshippers can find their personal spot overlooking the lake.
